My Journey:
My Approach:
My work is grounded in a deep commitment to relationship—both with others and with the inner and outer landscapes that shape us.
I’ve spent much of my life drawn to places where growth asks something of us—within relationships, in groups, and in the natural world.
I began in wilderness therapy, working with Open Sky Wilderness Therapy in the Four Corners region. There, I saw how quickly patterns come into focus under stress—and how much growth becomes possible when those patterns are met directly, in relationship.
Since then, I’ve guided rites of passage work with young men, supported families and couples through issues of PTSD, betrayal trauma, and codependency as a Family Therapist at The Meadows, and now facilitate intensive group therapy to address intimacy disorders at The Begin Again Institute.
Across these settings, one thing has stayed consistent: meaningful change happens in relationship—through honesty, accountability, and the willingness to stay present when it’s hard.
My work is especially focused on men and couples.
I’ve seen how many men carry pressure, isolation, and a quiet sense that they have to figure things out on their own—often without the tools or language to do it differently.
Underneath that is often a relationship to worth built on performance, achievement, or control—at the cost of connection, integrity, and a fuller sense of self.
In the room, I work directly with these patterns.
That means slowing things down. Naming what’s happening—while it’s happening. Especially when the way someone is trying to get connection is actually getting in the way of it.
Whether in a therapy room or sitting in circle, I aim to create a space where people are met with respect, challenged with care, and supported in doing work that leads to real change.
This is work grounded in relationship—and in the willingness to tell the truth.
Insight alone doesn’t create change.
Many people come to therapy clear on what isn’t working—but still stuck in the same patterns of disconnection, with partners, friends, and themselves. My work focuses on what happens between people: how you show up, how you relate, and what gets in the way.
Together, we turn awareness into action—building precision to awareness of needs, feelings, and defenses, the underlying influence of trauma on our lives and experience, and develop the skills to communicate clearly, stay connected under stress, and live in alignment with your values.
Our work is shaped by my training in Relational Life Therapy (RLT). I integrate approaches like Brainspotting, IFS, and Gestalt to work with underlying trauma and shift patterns with both compassion and accountability.
From there, we focus on how those patterns show up in your relationships—building something more honest, connected, and resilient.
The goal isn’t a perfect relationship, but one where you can move through harmony, conflict, and repair—and come out more connected on the other side.
You’ll be met with respect—and challenged with clarity to change what isn’t working.
