Why This Work Matters
You can understand a pattern for a long time and still keep living inside it.
Change happens when that understanding begins to shape how you actually live—how you respond when you’re hurt, how you speak when something matters, how you handle conflict, and how you show up for the people you love.
The relationships that matter most to us are shaped in these moments.
Therapy gives us a place to practice doing them differently.
“Intimacy is the freedom to tell the truth and remain connected.
The work is learning how.” ~Seth Rose
About Seth
Many of the people I work with have become very good at holding things together.
From the outside, life may look successful or stable. Underneath, there can be disconnection, self-doubt, patterns in relationships that keep repeating, or the sense that something important needs to change—even when you’re not quite sure how.
I work with men and couples to understand what is happening beneath those patterns and, more importantly, to begin doing something different. Therapy with me is not only about insight. It is about developing a stronger relationship with yourself and learning how to bring more honesty, integrity, and emotional intimacy into your relationships.
My path to this work has included wilderness therapy and rites of passage, trauma treatment, intensive group therapy with men, and specialized training in relational and couples therapy. These experiences have shaped my belief that meaningful change asks for both compassion and accountability—and that some of our most important growth happens in relationship with others.
In our work, you can expect warmth, curiosity, and respect, alongside a willingness to directly address what may be keeping you stuck. My aim is to help you build the capacity to show up more fully for yourself and for the relationships that matter to you.
